Sylvia Lafair, Ph.D., is co-founder and President of Creative Energy Options, Inc. (CEO), a dynamic global consulting firm focused on optimizing workplace relationships through extraordinary leadership.
With a doctorate in clinical psychology, Dr. Lafair was a practicing family therapist when the CEO of a large corporation came to her with an intriguing question: Could she use her expertise in effective relationships to help resolve conflicts among his company’s senior team? Dr. Lafair accepted the challenge, and the remarkable workplace transformation that ensued launched her 30-year career as an executive coach and leadership educator.
Dr. Lafair has worked successfully and strategically with all levels of management, from officers of leading global corporations to family firms, entrepreneurs, start-ups, and not-for-profit organizations. Her insights about people in the workplace led to her innovative Pattern Aware Leadership ModelTM, the foundation of her company’s work and the inspiration for her upcoming book due out at the end of 2008.
Dr. Lafair has developed intriguing, thought-provoking, and life-changing educational programs such as The “Gotcha!” Game: Decoding Office Politics; Ouch!
